whish is more rare? and why?

thanks u once again for your time.

EDIT::could anybody answer the new question in post #3? tyvm

Just My opionion but I say red is more rare.
Red game items have not been sold since christmas time 2005 lots were bought during that time but they have not been sold since. It has been retired for much much longer.
Gold was part of the Gold set that was from completing the hidden mickey on VMK then taking the paper in to VMK Central where you got a code for a whole set of gold items. Gold items trade very well and you should have no problem finding someone to trade you one. There allways seems to be someone offering gold Items.

ty for replying mkoateyw..lol you've been so helpful to me since I've just started on these forums lol so ty for that

NEW QUESTION:so if red is more rare..what if i wanted to trade red turnstile for a gold one? like what kind of item should the person add to make it fair to both parties?

Here's some facts for you:

Red turnstile:
Released: 23 May 2005, Retired: 27 June 2005 (BETA)
Re-released: 8 December 2005, Retired: 1 January 2006 (making it officially re-released BETA)

Gold was part of the Golden Collection which was a Hidden Mickey prize that was redeemable at DLR.

If you are looking for a red turnstile and are offering a gold, I will happily make that trade with you. I'll be back around 7pm VMK time.

ty for the generous offer disneydreams but I am the one with a red turnstile and i need to complete my turnstile collection by getting a gold..which is why I need question in post #3 answered bc im not really sure what would make the trade fair..

ty all for replying

The "what should I add" question is never easy. It's not like 1 + _ = 5 where there is a clear and concise answer.

- The gold turnstile was never available in game.
- You had to have access to the parks (not sure even if WDW ever had it, anyone???) to get it.
- You had to complete the 50 Mickeys in game quest to get the certificate.
- You could only get 1/character.
- It has been retired for a while now.
- Although NOTHING is a sure thing these days in VMK, the gold collection was part of the 50th celebration for DLR so the chances of it popping up in game are small.

Now, what makes this fair: red + ___ = gold?

Sort of depends on:
How much you want it?
How many they have?
How much they want red?
And, lol, how aware are they of the above?

A gold snowman is for sure too much. A buyable item is too little. What makes it fair? That's where VMK gets to "What's the item worth to you?" And I would add to that, are you getting it to trade or to keep for yourself?

I don't know if this helps at all, but I hope it does somehow. Good luck!

thx for your reply disney:)

and on a side note, did u check what items u had yet? ;)

I don't think the person trading the Gold Turnstile needs to add anything the Person trading the Red would most likely need to be the one who adds. Because the Red turnstile was re-released last summer in a quest under the Q button, and the Gold turnstile was only available as an in park reward.

Agreed. The person giving the red needs to add.
