I would guess that most Red Sox and Yankees fans are familiar with the whole "Yanks are the Evil Empire" nonsense. Along those lines, I found this picture which really had me laughing like crazy:

I would think that even Red Sox fans would have to laugh at this one.

I truly cannot imagine anyone hating Derek Jeter. Jealous of the Yankees for having him? You bet. He is the consummate professional and cares only about winning and the team.

For the record, I always had the ultimate respect for Nomar Garciaparra and I think it's appalling the way Red Sox fans turned on him at the end. He too was the epitome of a consumate professional.

I also loved Nomar and disliked the idea of getting AROD, actually I am really happy that greedy George got him and we kept Manny. As far Jeter goes you are taking it much to heart. As I am sure you are very aware Jeter is the enemy!!! And therefore very disliked. Don't take it so personal!!!

i totally agree with Figment22-i really think that you should give derek jeter the respect he deserves, although i can understand why you hate him so much -i totally respect ALL of the red sox, no matter how much i despise them-as for nomar, he was one of my favorite players even when he was still playing for boston, so that shows you dont have to hate derek JUST bacause hes a yankee...hes a really good player, and the red sox, contrary to my dreams, dont suck--theyre a really really good team, and i think that this series is gonna be awesome!!!!

Wow -- that is great news for you! Have a fabulous time at the game. Yankees/Red Sox games are the best because of the competition and the rivalry. We miss going to Yankee stadium, but we still get to see them here in Florida when they play the Devil Rays or during spring training.

Yankees are #1!

OK, I went to the game with my husband Mark on Saturday. Thankfully the limo driver knew his way around Boston and we were right on time for the game. The seats were unbelieveable!!

It really was the chance of a lifetime and the Sox winning was just the icing on the cake!

I am a fan of the Red Sox, lived here in New England my whole life but have a great respect for the Yankess talent. I saw it first hand Saturday night.

Mark is not a sports fan at all but we had a great time, he enjoyed himself and that's what I was hoping for. Fenway is such a beautiful classic baseball park and we had a panoramic view of the field.

A night to remember no matter who we were playing.

I'm glad you had a good time. I love to go to any game when the seats are that good. We once went to a Cubs game through my job. It was about the 7th row behind the dugout. I still think about and it was 14 years ago!
