Red Sox Win! They're in!

Well, they did it! The Sox have clinched a playoff spot and their quest will soon begin! Quite frankly, I don't believe that they will have to worry about the Yankees, at all. With their putrid pitching, the Yankees will be lucky to make it out of the first round. Besides that don't want to face the Red Sox, they're too and so are their fans... and they know it! So there!!!

NO! NO! I can't stand anymore. They will rehash that stupid "cowboy up thing" and then everywhere we look we will be innundated by Red Sox just as we were with the Patriots! For those of you in Mass remember the riots aftet the Patriots games??
Must be the kid that was hit in the mouth with a ball at the game recently. He just happened to live in the house occupied by Babe Ruth. So his father is not upset that the kid's front teeth are broken, no he is more than happy to get them fixed if it "breaks the curse". The poor kid took one for the team!

The only curse of the Red Sox is they charge too much for too little and the fans truly are FANatical. ANd yes I can say all this I live in MASS!!

P.S. I KNOW I will get flamed for this post but ...this the only topic I will hear about in my house for the next 5 weeks!! I needed to vent.

Well since the Yankees always steamroll over everyone in their division (I am NOT a Yankee fan!) the Red Sox must have gotten that darn wild card spot...I have hated those since they started..if the team didn't win their division they really shouldn't be in the playoffs. The playoffs should be for the first place teams only. Same thing with football...what is there like 4 teams that DONT make the playoffs????
Well with that being said I do actually hope the red sox spank the yankees and send them home crying!

I do like the Yankees, but I'm not to confident about the playoffs. I haven't liked their pitching since the season started.I hope they can do it. I'd really like to see the Cubs go all the way. I'm more of a baseball fan, then a fanatic for one team.

The difference between the Red Sox and the Yankees is that when th Yankees clinched their playoff spot, they went about their business as usual. When the Red Sox did it, they celebrated like they just won the World Series. Maybe that's because that's as close as they'll get

I totally if it weren't for the wild card the RedSox's wouldn't have been in the play offs last year or this year. It's just not how the games should be played, either football, baseball and other pro teams that use the wild card.

As a Yankee fan..all I can say with some authority is that I truly love this time of year...The Red Sox fans and all of Boston get all excited with visions of success ONLY to see it all fall apart and disappear when the team self- destructs and loses...as it always has and as it always will....and then fans like me laugh and giggle.... sorry, Boston, it cant happen for you...but seeing you get this close makes your eventual loss that much sweeter !!!!!!!!!!!!!!..watch the World Series in NY folks...as ususal...
