Just a few thoughts...
1) Remember when the Patriots won the Superbowl? Terry Francona was just hired as the new manager of the team and he did a comercial in the snowy left field seats of fenway saying, "Congratulations Patriots for winning the superbowl. Wow, that's a hard act to follow." Now the Patriots have a hard act to follow.
2) Schilling, in one of his many commercials, is hitchiking from Arizona to Boston until he goes into a Ford (I think). He said he's going to Boston to break an 86 year old curse. Yep.
3) Manny Ramirez did a comercial for Bob stores and in it, he's standing infront of some shoes day dreaming of being named the World Series MVP. Ironic, he's now the World Series MVP.
4) Alex Rodriguez and Randy Johnson wanted championships. While ARod gave the Red Sox a chance, Randy Johnson did not (he only wanted to go to the Yankees...he wanted to win it all). Ironic that they're both home watching the team they passed up win it all (more Randy than ARod).
Is anyone going to record the parade? Is it going to be aired online? I hope so. I need to see it!
Anyway, it's 1 am here and I still can't think of anything but the win. Sorry for my rant.
