I'm staying at my parents house in Jersey this week since I'm in NYC on business, and while waiting for NJ transit tonight in Penn Station, I saw a guy with a Papelbon shirt on. we got talking about the game tonight.

Even in NY/NJ, there are sox fans.

So how awesome is Josh Beckett!!! Wasn't it so nice to be able to watch the game, relax and not be on the edge of your seat( well maybe a little on the edge to see if he pitched a complete game shut out)

Down here in Florida, we never get to see them! But, yeah, I hear ya. I'd much rather have them doing the commentary.

The TBS guys actually seemed to be in awe of the Sox, Fenway and Red Sox Nation. That was a refreshing change from both ESPN and Fox's idle chatter. So if I can't have the Remdog, I'll take TBS any time.

I love NESN! Since I'm out of market, I subscribe to MLB.tv and watch the regular season on my computer.

Since I was in a bar, I couldn't hear the TBS guys but anything is better than the YES (yankees) network I was subjected to while living in NJ.

Beckett was on fire last night! At the end of the 8th I thought about whether or not Francona would bring him back out at 101 pitches, I wasn't surprised to see him in the 9th, he had COMPLETE control...

Jacoby's catch was AWESOME....

We're traveling Friday night, we'll miss half the game but hopefully see the other half, let's hope Dice K has the stuff he's shown recently....

I just found out recently that Comcast has a plan where I can subscribe for the season for $150 and get all of the Red Sox games (via NESN)! I'm planning on doing it next year. Ever since I left Maine 7 years ago I've been so out of the loop.
