Red Roof Inn??

We are looking at staying at the Red Roof Inn on Kyng's Heath Rd. This is going to be a super budget trip for us so I am looking for something clean,close & cheap. They are quoting $39 a night! Any first hand recent experiences at this hotel?

I haven't stayed there, but for not much more than $39/night, you could get a more upscale hotel that's closer to the parks on Priceline. Thank you but No. I am too much of a control freak for that. I want to know where I am staying before I am committed to it.

I am not sure what Red Roof Inn I stayed at for 1 night. I can give you an idea if it was the same one. It was between 535 and 192 behind other buildings some what. I would never stay again! I wanted a safe clean place for 1 single night because I was down by myself. We had purchased our rental home and I had gone down to check on the process. The hotel was not clean and it had a terrible smell. I remember laying awake all night because I could hear everything. The walls must have been paper thin. Also the bed was so uncomfortable. The reason I rented the room was AAA had given it a 3 ***. I was not pleased at all. I wander how they got the 3***? Well enough said. I just hope it is not this one!
