Thanks for the good wishes and the offer of advice Scott.

We took her in yesterday for what we thought was a rash and a cough.

What we thought was a rash turned out to be tumors.

The vet kept her all day and both the dog and I have separation issues.

I asked the vet if I could stay with her and was told "no, go home."

She came home last night and was very groggy.

They removed the tumors (for biopsy) from her backside and $1037 from my wallet.

She seems to be getting back to her old self today.

Our fingers are crossed.

Poor puppy! Sending good thoughts your/her way. I know you worry about them like they are children.. at least we do.


BTW..pet insurance takes the edge off a bit. We have it for our dog and you get reimbursed a percentage and well visits are covered.

Hope your doggie's nose will soon be cool and his tail wagging!
However, if that's not meant to be, please accept my sincere sympathy. It seems the PodCast Crew has had more than it's share of grief lately.
It's so hard to hear a beloved pet or child or parent (or any loved one) is ill.
May our happy memories of those we love - whether they be animal or human - console us when they're no longer with us.
