Okay, thanks--I got it now!

Still a little fuzzy on the banking and cancellation, but we'll get it down. I think I need to read all the posts on banking points!!

BW is a consideration, but I think it might be good to take our March vacation there, since it sounds like it less of a high volume time for DVC members due to higher point schedules.

Go with your first instinct.
When I second guess my decisions and change my mind, I am almost always sorry I did.
If you think you will like the location, and you like the theme of the rooms, you cannot go wrong.
If I enjoyed PI as much as you do, I wouldn't hesitate to add on at SSR.

I really liked Doc's new pictures, too! My son likes DTD more than me. (Disney Quest and the general atmosphere)
I am happy just about anywhere...thinking into the future, I think that this might be a better location for teenagers--with the movie theater and all the nightly fun. Plus, I really do like the SSR theme. The walls (light yellow and peach hues) in Doc's pictures brighten up the room quite a bit.

As to catching on, there aren't many points left at BWV and BCV - so soon it will be the only choice for buying in (HH and VB aren't even options anymore!) - unless you go resale. Plenty of us bought OKW when it was the only choice, or BWV, or VWL or BCVs - and, by and large, most of us are happy.

I'd guess that many, many people simply buy what Disney is offering at the time - and often buy on vacation. They won't be as concerned as DisBoard DVC vets - nor are they exposed to the "my home is best" mentality that some people around here have. Told that SSR is what Disney is currently selling, they will sign - and be just as happy as those of us that did the same with the other DVC resorts.
