Reconfirm ADR's or just trust in system?

For our September trip, I read something on here that everyone should always reconfirm their ADR's so I freaked and had my TA reconfirm them.

She said everything was fine, and it was fine when we got to Disney

Next time, I probably won't bother reconfirming...

I admit to being a bit compulsive, but even with that, I still call and confirm my ADR's a couple days prior to departure.

What I do is call DD and tell them that I want to run through my ADR's day by day. They are more than happy to do that and a few times I have had mistakes in confirmation numbers or time.

I also get a print out of my ADR's when I check-in to the resort. I check that list against my list and again, have found occasional differences.

I'd rather check before hand than to get to the restaurant and find out that there is a problem.

There was a CM on these boards a while back who said the more times a CM is "in" a reservation the more chances that something can get screwed up so I don't confirm. I keep my numbers and asked for a print out when I check in. If there is a problem (which was only once) I ask the conceirge to help me fix it

Are the printouts for ADR's only available at Disney resorts? We'll be at the Dolphin and would love to get a hard copy of our reservations.

I have never called to confirm and have never had a problem but when you check in ask at the desk and they will go over all your ADR with you.

You might try guest services. We've always only stayed at Disney resorts so I'm not sure

Yes. When we stayed at the Dolphin last July, we went over to the concierge desk & he was able to give us a copy of our ADRs.
