Should I call and reconfirm my ADRs? I am not using a concierge...we're at the ASM! So no CM on site to doublecheck for us.
Any hints or ideas if they lose the ADR even if you have the reservation number?

Reconfirm, better safe than sorry.

I sat DON'T call! I didn't and won't next time either. As long as you have confirmation #'s for your ADR's - just go. If for some reason there is a problem - then it's on Disney to fix it in my opinion. I wouldn't stress about it. I've also seen posted here several times that the more calls to Disney Dining - the more likely they'll make some sort of mistake with your ADR's.

BTW, I called at 180 days for all my ressies except Wolfgang Cafe (which doesn't do 180+10). Called a few days later for that, and then that was it. No changes, no other calls, and NO problems with our ADR's at all!!

You'll get all sorts of advice on this one. Please look at my signature below. For each of those trips we have made at least one ADR per day of our visit, which is usually between 3 and 8 days.

We have never confirmed an ADR and we have never had a problem.

But...if it makes you calm, feel free to go ahead and call!

There was a CM on these boards a while back who said the more times a CM is "in" a reservation the more chances that something can get screwed up so I don't confirm. I keep my numbers and asked for a print out when I check in. If there is a problem (which was only once) I ask the conceirge to help me fix it

We go to Disney 3 times a year for many years. I can not count all the trips! I make one call, that is to book the ADR's. I would not call and reconfirm. I take my reservation numbers with me, I have never had a problem. Have you been making a lot of changes to your ADR's?

I had never considered reconfirming or even been concerned, until this year. We have multiple trips planned which isn't new, but the CMs now just seem...different.
I called the other day and the CM used caller ID to provide a number for herself, rather than ask me for a telephone number. Since, I won't have my home phone with me at WDW, the number she chose to list for my ADRs wouldn't have helped me much.
When I called to cancel an ADR for GF tea with my neice in February, the CM said, "OK, you're cancelling the Garden view Lounge for 4 on April XX..."
Oh! And the kicker for me has to be (drumroll please):
I booked a trip for me, my sister, and my niece for next week back in November. The confirmation came to me, the discount is *my* FL resident discount, all info was provided by me. I called to add the ME to my part of the reservation. Suddenly, they told me everything was in my DH's name, with him being the one going with my sis and niece!!??!! I got him off the ressie, but now my sis is adult #1, with me as #2. The CM didn't understand it and couldn't fix it. I was assured that I would still be allowed to get my FL resident discount. I get there about 3 hours prior to dear sis and niece. They had better let me check in to that room even though I'm adult #2, or...or...or I might lose my calm, peaceful demeanor. (Deep breaths Ang, deep breaths.)
No! There is way too much info about me and mine on the WDW big brother website, with far too many unqualified people having access to that info, to allow me to rest assured that any prized ADR might be secure.
But that's just me.:rolleyes1

I agree that the more times you have CM's in your reservations, the more likely there will be a mistake.

I've never called to confirm ADR's. I've only ever had a problem once--we checked in to the Rose & Crown and I had no ADR listed. I gave them my confirmation number, they looked it up and said it had somehow been cancelled. They apologized and seated us immediately. Carry your confirmation numbers with you and you should be fine.

I have never reconfirmed my ADR's. I do take a list of the confirmation #'s with me but we have never had a problem with lost reservations.

I would just have them print you off the list when you arrive at the resort that way you can check everything first thing and take care of any problems then.

I just take my ADR numbers with me. I use that PS Calulateor site for a print out. And I have the front desk/lobby concierge will get you print outs for each one when you get there.

I've never confirmed an ADR and I've made a lot of them! I have an excel spreadsheet with my itinerary, important phone numbers, etc. It has my confirmation numbers for ADR's. I've never had a problem although once I did have to give the CM checking us in the confirm number because they had spelled my name wrong.

Thank you everyone for all your replies!
I don't have a concierge since we're at Music. So I guess we're on our own.
Or...is there someone to help us out at Music just in case???
Reason I ask is that I had a odd CM who just didn't have it all together. Made and ADR for 8:25 in the morning instead of the dinner we asked for. I'm still not sure the ADR is in there and ok he was so weird.

You should still have a concierge at ASMu. They should have a desk at or near check in. You can have them print all your ADRs on arrival if you'd like.

That is a great idea, I'll be pinching that one if you don't mind! I was beginning to wonder how I was going to remember them all and other things also! :thumbsup2

After reading this thread I'm NOT going to call and confirm, I'm just showing up with my numbers and if it's not there, like someone else said, they'll have to sort it out for me!

ITA!

Everytime they open up your file, there's a chance of messing something up.

Just bring your confirmation #s with you and get them printed out at the concierge desk when you check-in.

Yeppers.

We stayed at POFQ and made all our ADRs ourselves, but the concierge desk in the POFQ lobby printed out a list for us. And there WAS a mistake. One lunch ADR was on a date a week earlier than our arrival. We called dining and they fixed it for us - got us in at the same time on the day it was supposed to have been. :thumbsup2

I always call to confirm the week before I leave just in case and if something is screwed up I have enough time to make new ressies or select new choices.
