I had never considered reconfirming or even been concerned, until this year. We have multiple trips planned which isn't new, but the CMs now just seem...different.
I called the other day and the CM used caller ID to provide a number for herself, rather than ask me for a telephone number. Since, I won't have my home phone with me at WDW, the number she chose to list for my ADRs wouldn't have helped me much.
When I called to cancel an ADR for GF tea with my neice in February, the CM said, "OK, you're cancelling the Garden view Lounge for 4 on April XX..."
Oh! And the kicker for me has to be (drumroll please):
I booked a trip for me, my sister, and my niece for next week back in November. The confirmation came to me, the discount is *my* FL resident discount, all info was provided by me. I called to add the ME to my part of the reservation. Suddenly, they told me everything was in my DH's name, with him being the one going with my sis and niece!!??!! I got him off the ressie, but now my sis is adult #1, with me as #2. The CM didn't understand it and couldn't fix it. I was assured that I would still be allowed to get my FL resident discount. I get there about 3 hours prior to dear sis and niece. They had better let me check in to that room even though I'm adult #2, or...or...or I might lose my calm, peaceful demeanor. (Deep breaths Ang, deep breaths.)
No! There is way too much info about me and mine on the WDW big brother website, with far too many unqualified people having access to that info, to allow me to rest assured that any prized ADR might be secure.
But that's just me.
