Recommended Park Days

Hello! I was trying to plan park days for our Oct 3-11 visit. I noticed on Saturday, october 4, HS is the recommended park, but it is also listed as the TOT 10miler. Wouldn't that make it more crowded? Just wondering. Also, anyone find a method they think works pretty well for figuring out the best parks to go to each day? TIA!

I don't think the runs make a large difference in the crowd.

I use easy wdw website.

last year i did dhs when they had the TOT race.
crowds were not bad at all.
in fact, there weren't any major crowds that day.

the park closes at 6:00 and many stayed away due to the early closing.


i plan to hit dhs again this october on that race day.

Ding, ding, ding! This is exactly why easyWDW recommends DHS on October 4. Early closing, no Fantasmic, plus F&W at Epcot, and evening EMH at MK. The ToT 10 miler doesn't start until 10 pm.
