recommendations for parking and Hilton Gatwick

Can anyone recommend which company to use for car parking and a night at the Hilton Gatwick. We do not want to use meet and greet as Mark won't have anyone drive his car. May have to take mine instead if nothing else on offer, but not keen

Hilton we usually book direct (either on Tesco rewards or Cash) then book the car park next door (euro car park). You can now get it is as a package from the Hilton if you are booking a cash stay. You also get the chance at e-standby upgrades where you can select a better room and if it is available at check in you pay a reduced price! Last time we got an upgrade from a standard double to their junior suite for £50. If I had booked it at the start it was over £100 more and was a great start to the holiday as it meant we had loads of room to spread out and relax!

Unfortunately they have recently put their prices up so not as competitive as they were in the past. Last time it was around the same as a meet & greet. We like it as the car park is attended 24 hrs a day and we can pop back the next morning to drop off our overnight bag. The best part is the car is right there when we get back

I usually book with Hilton directly as a package. However i usually book when they have a sale. I booked in Jan and got 50% off.

If you use cashback sites i believe that you can go through Quidco and get some cash back.

In the end I have booked the Hilton direct and got the 15 days parking where you can park yourself which is what we wanted originally for £179 so well pleased

Susan, is that with the Summer Special car park or the Euro? The reason I ask is that, with Summer Special, they still drive the car. You drop it off at the car park, then they book it in and park it in a bay. You might want to bear that in mind.

thanks for that, I won't mention it to Mark as he gets very touchy at the thought of someone driving his car!!! Best to leave it until we are there and it will be too late!

We booked with Holiday Extras in the end as they had an offer for dinner for £10 and kids eat free.

Last year we booked direct in their sale in January; we made a big saving that way.
