Do any of the DL experts have a recommendation for a tour of the area? It will be me and my 8 yo traveling and I'd prefer to take a chartered tour rather than go it alone and get lost.

We plan on doing 2 days at DL and have one free day.

Any and all advice is welcome and thanks in advance!

Hi!
Do you have an idea of what you'd like to see? The immediate area around DLR is just touristy...hotels, restaurants, etc.... there really isn't anything to see. The first post in this forum has suggestions on what else to so while in the area. Maybe you can narrow it down and someone can make recommendations.
:D

That does sound like the Speed Reader's Guide to LA. A few points of interest for the Disney-file:

- Farmer's Market - Inspiration for the "Sunset Ranch Market" section of WDW/MGM.

- Mann's Chinese Theatre - Obvious - WDW/MGM.

- Olvera Street - Across the street is Union Station, the main train station in L.A., which you'll see represented in DCA a couple of places.

- Off the Hollywood freeway near the Sunset exit you can still see the actual Hollywood Tower, which I understand is now apartments or maybe condos.

My two bits - I'd suggest finding a shorter tour - 7 hours sounds like an ordeal.
