Recommendation for Offsite with Little Ones?

We are thinking about a trip in Feb, April, or May for about a week with a preschooler and infant. I've looked at so many condos/townhomes and become overwhelmed by the choices. I'm hoping some people will have specific recommendations of units/properties you rented that might be similar to what we are looking for:

*2+ bedrooms
*Washer/drier in unit
*Full kitchen
*Onsite well-heated pool area (does not have to be private to the house, but could be in the community/resort) We are planning 3 resort days during the trip to enjoy that kind of thing out of the parks
*Kids play area or splash pad a plus
*$700 or less for the week with all fees and taxes
*Very, very clean--hard floors would be preferred due to allergies
*Kid friendly (helpful if things like baby gates and pack n play are included, but I know we can easily rent these)
*Not more than a 15 minute drive to the parks

If you've rented something you've been really happy with that sounds like this, and you have a property or owner to recommend, I appreciate the referral. Thanks!

Search VRBO for your requirements. 2+ bedrooms you are probably looking at Windsor Hills. Outside shot at Wyndham Bonnet Creek and Orange Lake. Others may know more places.

i second looking on eBay...i always check eBay first. i scored an april stay for a week at wyndham bonnet creek again on eBay. 3bedroom presidential suite for a week for $650. it was a new listing and i snagged it without any thought.

Great minds must think alike, because I checked the sold listings myself wondering how I missed that bargain. I am always on the lookout for a bargain trip to WBC. In August, 2015, we won an auction for a 3 bedroom for $330 because of a last minute cancellation. We already had a 2 bedroom at another resort booked through SkyAuction (which wasn't refundable, so we ate the cost on that - $399), but that's the best bargain we've been able to score on eBay so far.

Exactly!
This is our first foray into staying offsite at Disney and I have done my due diligence for months picking the best place for our family and we chose Wyndham Bonnet Creek and I have spent months and months researching all the places that sell these Wyndham condos and their prices to find the best price with a reputable seller.
I have spread sheets with all the different prices and what they sold for.
So when I saw that post~ I was like what!?

I always search by "new listings" first. That's how I found it so quickly and I snagged it. I will have ALL my offsite stays at WBC, it has everything. We haven't stayed onsite for quite some time because of the deals for WBC.

A 3BR Pres during the Value season is 219,000 points. Since it is not within the 60-day window, it is full points to get the unit. That comes out to $3/1000 points. That is well below the maintenance fees for any Wyndham owner. The only way you will see that is if a PlatVIP just bought a contract with points expiring and needed to dump them. Still, they know they could sell it for more than $3/1000 points.

If true, post a link to the purchased sale.

Maybe Lake Buena Vista Resort Village & Spa. We stayed there when my kids were little and really liked it. It was super clean and the units were huge. We liked that it was a lot less spread out than most of the other condo/timeshare resorts in the area. The kids loved the pool area. Not sure of prices as it will vary a lot based on when your trip is. Marriott Harbour Lake was another favorite when the kids were little. The splash area there is amazing for little kids, but unless you could get a deal directly from an owner, it is probably out of your price range. Bonnet Creek might be in your budget if your dates are flexible but it is more spread out than the other resorts.

He's not responding and it's still not showing in the sold listing on ebay. Wonder what that means?!

I don't know about pricing but we stayed at grande villas which is close to disney springs. It has 2 bedroom apartments with full kitchens and washer drier in the rooms. Heated pool. Kids pool. There is a play area with swings and climbing frame in its sister resort cypress point which is about a 5 min walk. They provided crib and high chair for the baby and had lovely enclosed balconies. I would definitely stay here again. I have also stayed in the cypress pointe 2 bedroom unit (nice but noisy) and mystic dunes (nice but massive complex with nothing much in walking distance)

We are staying at Cypress Pointe 5/16-5/23 in the 3 bedroom, (the 2 bedroom is the lockoff that doesn't include the 1 bedroom suite). So happy to hear someone had a good experience at the property! DH's mom is letting us use her timeshare points for $300 and two of my buddy passes (I'm a flight attendant).

My only issue with cypress pointe was the neighbours upstairs on their balcony partying until 5.15 am then playing music in their bedroom until 12.30am the next night. Honestly they may as well have been in the room with me and my baby but as it sounded as if there was so many people there I was too frightened to call security through the night incase they'd know it was me. I had called reception through the day as they were out smoking playing music and shouting on the balcony but they said the noise policy didn't come into effect until 11pm. The room itself was lovely though. Really enjoyed my first night just not the other two so as long as you have considerate neighbours you'll be all good
