Recommend your Portable DVD player

Hi everyone! I've been contemplating getting a portable DVD player for our car so that DS can be entertained by some shows if he gets restless during our 3.5 hour car ride up to WDW. I'd really like one that can connect to the head rest since he's riding forward-facing in his carseat. Any recommendations?

Dont buy the cheap ones from Circuit City... it was put out by Digital Labs.
It was cheap and we thought that it would keep the kids occupied for the 20 hour ride. Stupid thing worked fine when stationary... but once the car was going down the interstate... it kept going to a black screen and starting over. So needless to say... kiddos didnt watch much of it cause we were all ready to throw it on the side of I95.

Husband loves it when ice fishing though

We got our daughter the Sony DVP-FX820 and we used it on a 9 hour flight and it worked the whole time. (not constantly) it has a 6 hour battery. It is an 8" so for a car I might suggest a larger screen but the Sony brand is very highly rated. We have been happy with it so far.

We got DD10 the Polaroid 7" Swivel Portable DVD Player - Pink DPA-07046P in June 2007, she has used it all over in the car house yard, you name it held up great, she's actually watching it right now for some reason. Anyway that model is not available anymore but this seems to be the new model Polaroid 7" Swivel Portable DVD Player - Blue (DPA-07046Q)

They don't get great reviews but I would recommend them and would buy again for us it's been a great little player.
