Menege a Trois red YUMM!~

Love love love this wine! Has been a hit with all of my friends and my parents have started bringing it to their supper club. All agree that it is YUMMY!

Runs about 9.99 to 13.99 a bottle depending on where you shop.

I was getting ready to post this same one. YUMMY! We had it in a restaurant first, years ago, with quite the mark up. Imagine our happy surprise to see it in Target for $9.99. It's the perfect blend. :cloud9:

My DH and I buy our wine by the label....if the label is cool, we try it. We try not to spend more than $10 for a regular sized bottle. Right now, we are drinking House Wine. The label is black and white, and it looks no frills. It's a red blend...pretty good! It was $9.99....

That's pretty much what we do too...labels or names. That's how I tried the Menage A Trios (liked the name ;)) and really liked it.

I also liked Little Black Dress Merlot, Mommy's Time Out, and Grandpa ChaCha's (kind of sweet).

Abadia Retuerta Seleccion Especial. Its a Spanish wine that is: 75% Tempranillo, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 5% Merlot. Very nice!!!

We had this at the EPCOT Food and Wine Festival last year and loved it. DH especially loved it. He got two bottles in his Easter basket this year:thumbsup2

Red Belly Black Shiraz

Chisholm Trail Lone Wolf and Chisholm Trail Desperado, Chisholm Trail Vinyards Fredricksburg, Texas
El Guaupo Tempernillo, Alamagordo Vinyards, Lampassas Texas
There are tons of others-i collect boutique reds and travel alot for work :)

I've wondered about the Barefoot Moscato. I will check that one out. I have a problem with wine. I buy it like some people buy shoes or bags, so I have a wine stash. The thing is, I don't buy good wine for a wine collection, so I guess I collect the cheap stuff!!!

LOL I do the SAME thing! I do finish the Barefoot's though, they are GOOD!:thumbsup2

I agree with JessicaR - Any red from Cakebread is good!

And...If you want to go all out and spend a few extra bucks...

Try a cab from Far Niente. VERY good.

I had a look at Far Niente. The cave selections looked interesting! Love new wines.:thumbsup2

Really in PA? I thought that was a Southern thing.
In GA you can buy it in grocery stores just not on Sundays. Of course you can go to a restuarant on Sunday and order a glass of wine you just can't buy a bottle at your local Trader Joes :confused3

Yeah, in PA! LOL :) No beer OR wine in grocery stores, with the exception of one grocery store chain:Wegman's. You can buy beer there, but only two six packs at a time, and you need to check out separately with your beer...no beer and groceries together.

In PA, we have Wine and Spirits Shops (for wine and hard liquor) which are regulated by the state, and beer distributors. A handful of each are now open on Sundays, which started a couple of years ago.

We have some pretty strict alcohol laws here!

Ok, so my DH bought a bottle of Menage A Trois red last night to bring to a friend's house....

OMG...this wine is AWESOME!! Everyone loved it...it's my new favorite!!

Thanks for the suggestion!!!
