Recomend a cheap motel eve before checkin

We are driving from Alabama on friday and need a clean and CHEAP place to stay close to Disney World for 6 1/2 hours before our Saturday am checkin! We stayed at a Days Inn nearby two trips ago, but I don't remember which one....Does anyone else remember a good place they stayed in before??

Might want to consider priceline. I just got the Marriot at MCO (rated as 3.5 stars) for a bid of $39 and a total of $51. Check the betterbidding.com and www.biddingfortravel.com for additional info and winning bids. I saw discussions on their about WDW resort area hotels and the prices were in the same ball park. We wanted airport as we are coming in on a late flight, but apparently they are deals in the resort area.

I agree with all the information provided to you in that Priceline will give a clean hotel for a cheap price. If you aren't picky it will work just fine. Biddingfortravel and www.betterbidding.com are both great sites with a lot of info about using PL. Good luck.

Golden Link Motel. Owners are kind folks. Christians who will work with you. Contact them and tell them you only need a short stay, I bet you they'll give you a good rate.

There are many hotels on 192 that are good and cheap.

Check out www.wyndhamrewards.com for chains such as Super 8, Days Inn, Howard Johnsons, Ramada.

Check out www.choicehotels.com for chains such as Comfort, Quality, Sleep

Not sure how many are in your party but Priceline or hotwire should give you a decent hotel for good price. If you are only 2 in your party I'd go with Priceline if you have more than 2 use hotwire since they allow you too book more than 2 people in a room.

We were going to do this on our 2008 May stay but decided just to see if we could get an additional night at ASMu (we had a 64/night ap rate). That's what we did and didn't have to move on that day! Just an idea esp. if staying in a value

Define "cheap". I'd stay at any version (price/quality level) of Marriott over anything else except an onsite resort - but my idea of cheap may be higher than yours.
