I'm looking for a recipe that someone has made for pecan pie. I was looking on the web, and there are a lot of different ones. I want one I know will taste great.

Thanks

I found it!!

Classic Pecan Pie (from Karo)

3 eggs, slightly beaten
1 cup sugar
1 cup Karo® light or dark corn syrup
2 tablespoons Mazola margarine or butter, melted
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/4 cups pecans
1 (9-inch) unbaked or frozen deep-dish pie crust*

1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
2. In medium bowl with fork beat eggs slightly. Add sugar, corn syrup, margarine and vanilla; stir until blended. Stir in pecans. Pour into pie crust.
3. Bake 50 to 55 minutes or until knife inserted halfway between center and edge comes out clean. Cool on wire rack.

I was going to say the same recipe. My mom has been known for her pecan pie for years and I get rave reviews too. All from the Karo jar! I do use the blue label dark syrup . It's a more carmel taste. The light makes it a little jigglier to me.

I also use the pillsbury ready made crusts. I heard if you use two and roll them together a little before you put them in the pan your crust will hold the juices of the pie better.

Here's mine without Karo. Mix together one box of Dixie Crystal Light Brown Sugar and 2 tablespoons of flour. In another bowl, mix together one cup of milk, 3 eggs, 3 tablespoons of butter or margarine, 1 teaspoon of vanilla and at least one cup of pecans. Mix dry and wet ingredients together and pour into 2 pie crusts. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes. I've never failed to get raves over these, especially from those who don't like the Karo pies (although why anyone would not like a Karo pie is beyond me--I love them all) I just took mine out of the oven--we're having an early Thanksgiving at our house tonight.

Wow! I was just cleaning out the cupboard & was looking at the recipe for pecan pie on the Karo syrup bottle :)! Small world!!
