Reception on the Grand 1?

is it possible for Wishes bride to host the reception on the Grand 1 yacht instead? Has anyone done before?

How many guests are you having? Space would definitely be limited if you are planning on having a meal onboard.

It definitely can be doable. 15 + bride and groom is pushing it IMO. I think they say the boat holds 18 but really if you expect people to be in the lounge area at one time (for a meal or cake cutting) it will be really tight. That number is if people are up on the top, in some of the rooms, and out on deck. We celebrated our dating anniversary on the Grand One and it was just the two of us but I want to say maybe 6/7 adults would fit in the lounge comfortably. How about using it after your reception for desserts and fireworks?

A few months ago someone inquired about using a meal on the Grand 1 to meet the Wishes food and beverage minimums and was told by Disney that it wouldn't count. You would have to ask Disney directly to see if this policy has changed...

Out of interest how much does it cost to hire the yacht? Is it in hourly blocks?

The price is $520/hour ($553.80 including tax), with a minimum of one hour. It holds up to 17 guests.
