I hope you all don't mind my questions and sorry if they have been asked before! I tried a search but it wasn't working for me. I am in the early stages of planning a vow renewal for 2009. I have been going to mouseweddings.com and Disney's official site and there seems to be a lot more options for reception venues on mouseweddings. Are those outdated or does the Disney site not show all options? Also, I see that some venues have a price for rental. If there is no price there does that mean you don't pay for the site, just the price per person for the dinner is all you pay? The site in Epcot American Adventure Rotunda is so beautiful and DH and I both love it, but we will not have 100 guests, more like 50. Is there a way around that? It states a minimum of 100. Is there a site that looks similar to this out there? We really only like one other option and that would be a ballroom at the Yacht Club. How do the guests get to the reception site if we are having the ceremony at the Wedding Pavilion? Thanks! I know I'll have more questions to follow! Oh, here's one, when can you go see the sites and visit that shop at the GF?

Congrats First!
Don't Really Go Look At Everything On The Papers As Thats The Rules, Disney Will Work With You On Almost Everything, My Planner Is Wonderful. America Is Rotunda Is My Backup Location For Weather , I Almost Used It For My Main, But I'm Really Hoping For Good Weather For The Isola! We Are Only Having Around 50 People.
As For Transportation We Are Renting A Bus To Transport Everyone Fr Hotel To Pavillion To Epcot Back To Hotel,.
When You Have Your First Meeting You Can Go Look At Any Sites You Want Just Let Your Planner Know What You Like.

They're pretty firm on the 100-person minimum for American Adventure Rotunda (one bride had to invent two invisible children to keep her guest count high enough to stay there). As a backup maybe not so much....

And yes there are way more venues than Disney lists on its site. The only thing outdated on Mousesavers.com is some of the prices. All venues have rental fees. You have to rent transportation (limos, buses) for your guests if you're having an in-park wedding. If you're at a hotel or the Wedding Pavillion you could let guests figure out their own transportation, I guess, but it's nice to keep them all together. Transportation is the area where Disney sticks it to you the most, cost-wise.

People have reported doing site visits as far as 18 months in advance, but DFTW generally likes to do them within a year. Planning sessions aren't til 4-6 months out.

Hope this helps!
