Reception at Living Seas, how did you decorate it? please post pics!

Those pictures look yummy...I figure we will go with the Tinkerbell Brunch tentatively unitl we go to our planning session, then we may make changes from there, but your menu sounded yummy. Bill had mentioned a pre reception food thing, but I didn't know what he meant...now it makes sense, give the guests something to munch on while the pictures are getting done. 9am sounds really early to us to, but we just love the courtyard and I really want to get married at Epcot, it is my fave. Thanks for the info and the great pics.

I had 37 guests and LSS did not feel too big. This location does not need a lot of decorations. Here are some pictures from my reception:

I am planning an Escape Wedding and would like to rent out the area for a lunch or dinner party for my guest. I am having only a few guest at the ceremony but more for the dinner...

Could I request to see the location with an Escape Wedding?

You can rent the area for a private party (my cousin is a musician at Epcot and does private parties in this area all the time.) I think if you do this for a wedding though you have to book it separately and can't wear your dress, but I might be wrong on that? Here is site with some of the sample menus:

Transportation Question...

I read some where that you need to get a Charter Bus to take your guest there.

Where does the bus leave you when you arrive???

Do you need to walk much to get there. I have elderly family memebers who really can't walk from the park entrance to Living Seas!!!

we looked at LSS and ariels but we got put foo by the fish as we wanted a hidden mickey theme and we contracted for ariels and then changed to white hall room.

We got a charter bus through disney to take us to epcot for the dessert party, it picked up and 7:30pm and then took us to our hotel at around half 9ish and cost around $360 i think last sept

Don't worry they pull right behind the Living Seas building backstage and then walk your guests around the front and you enter near the Coral Reef restaurant. My aunt and grandma (both 85) made it without any problems. I also requested from my planner that a couple of wheel chairs be available for my guests. It ended up my grandma used one and we just had my cousin push her around. So, make sure to ask your planner to have some chairs on hand

Vanessa said it all really but my planner did mention that if they are going to need one you might want to just have them from the hotel they are picked up at as that may be easier!
