We're pretty excited, we're not crazy Disney people or anything but my wife and I are excited to go for our DD who's 4.5 years old. It's our first trip as a family and my third, though my last one was about 13 years ago.

We booked through Costco a week ago. It was a package that included tickets, hotel, air, and car. We're staying off-site at Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek for 5 nights. I read a lot of good reviews about that place online (tripadvisor) so I'm pretty excited. They have a pretty cool pool too in case we get Disney'd out for a day.

I picked up the a 6 day basic ticket, and didn't opt for the park hopper. This may turn out to have been a bad decision but I am not sure we're gonna have to hop too much and it added a lot of cost.

We also got tickets for the MNSSHP for arrival day. We have reservations for the Princess Breakfast at Epcot. The one at MK was booked solid and I've seen some reviews online that say the one at Epcot is just as good. My only concern is that we'll use up a ticket for that day and there's not much of interest for a 4 year old at Epcot.

The only other reservation we have is for the BBB at DTD. We also couldn't get that at MK for the time we wanted.

So we plan on doing a couple days at MK a day at Hollywood DD loves Toy Story, and one day at AK. Not sure what to do with the last day but I don't want a real strict plan.

Still trying to figure out where to eat and if I should do the ADR or not. My general thought is I'm going to review the restaurants, see if there are any must sees and see if I can find reservations then plan to go to said park that day.

What is the WIFI coverage like there? My wife has an iPod touch will she be able to use it much?

We'll be at the party on the 18th, too! Our first Halloween party!

As for Epcot, my just-turned-four year old loved it so much two years ago that we're spending as much time there as we are the Magic Kingdom during our upcoming trip. There is a ton of fun stuff at Future World - especially Turtle Talk with Crush and the tanks outside there. We could have spent an hour there. Plus the Innovations exhibits with all the hands on stuff is great. As for the world, I think our son got excited because we were, and we gave him a bit of a geography lesson (and we're a family of nerds, so that worked out pretty well for him!). There are also Kidcot stations at the world. We haven't done those, but may try them in a few weeks. A few weeks!! Yay!!

I say, don't write off Epcot just yet. I love it, DH loves it, and yes, our DS, who will be six soon, loved it.

Thanks for the response. Yeah we will give epcot a shot but she's really into the characters and stuff so I'm not sure how interested she'll be in much else. Yeah this will be our first mnsshp too.

We're doing the Hoopty Doo Review at 5pm on a Wednesday. We got the second class seating, we're not on the floor we're on the balcony. Will that be as fun as being on the floor?
