Being home is such a letdown but we all had a fabulous time. We were in WDW from February 19th through the 28th and it was DH-39, Me-34, DD-15 and DS-5. We stayed at the Courtyard Marriott Village and my Dad's timeshare Westgate Lakes. The weather could not have cooperated more. The temps were 75-80 the entire time we were there and it only rained for about 1/2 hour on our last day at Epcot. I ordered all of our tickets from Ticketnmania and there were no problems what so ever. I will definitely order from them again.
We visited Animal Kingdom on Thursday, Universal Studios on Friday (first day of Marti Gras), Typhoon Lagoon on Saturday, Sea World (Trainer for a Day) on Sunday, MGM on Monday, Magic Kingdom on Tuesday, Islands of Adventure on Wednesday, and Epcot on Thursday. Crowds and lines were not an issue. Most everything was 5 minute waits. I would say the most crowded was Universal (due to Marti Gras), MGM???, Test Track (20-30) and Fantasyland at Magic Kingdom in the afternoon. Splash, Space and Big Thunder Mountains were 10 minute waits all day. We walked onto all of them twice. My son just made the 44" height requirment and was so excited to ride all the "big" rides.
We ate at Donald's Breakfastasaurus, Ohana, Primetime Cafe and Marrakesh. The rest were sitdowns and snacking. Primetime was our best meal. There were 7 of us for lunch and all declared it delicious. I was very pleased and surprised.
We finally got to see Illuminations after 4 years and it was lovely although I don't know if we were all as tired as we were after 9 days of commando touring that I would make it a point to stay again. We all got the one day Poops and Pukes (sorry to be graphic) and I had hand sanitizer, wipes and did lots of hand washing. Florida is home to every bug known to man. Be very agressive with the hand washing and then as in our case you still may get sick. We felt lucky that it was not worse.
We capped off our WDW trip with 5 days in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico (Riviera Maya-30 miles North of Cancun) and it was too die for! We won't go back to WDW now for a few years as we have been 3 times in 4 years and need to give it a rest. A perfect trip. Thanks to all for your valuable and never ending information. If any of you have any questions, ask away.
