Recent Win in New Orleans $1.4m Caribbean Stud

Hello Everyone, I've visited these boards before but it's been a long time and so I had to re-register because I couldn't remember any of my other information. How silly of me !

Anyway - I do remember that if you want to find out something, you can come to the community board and someone here will have the answer. My brother-in-law suppposedly won $1.4m on a caribbean stud table on "some" riverboat in New Orleans or close to there (I'm not sure how many are open due to the Hurricane).

Does anyone know where I could verify this? Or has anyone heard of this locally ? Thanks ! **P.S. The reason I'm asking is because now suddenly he's saying it was just a "hoax" -and I'm wondering if he'd rather not have anyone know - which is totally fine -- his business -- just thought I'd check into the story a little further

But it sounds like a hoax to me. I hear of people winning millions in slots, but never Caribbean stud. I think he'd have as much luck winning 1 million in that game as I would playing Pai Gow poker or black jack. Chances are very slim. These tables have limits and the dealer is going to win a certain amount of time. While I can see someone winning a couple of thousand, I highly doubt they would win a million, unless it was some sort of tournament with a prize.
