Has anyone recently used the Skyliner to go from Riviera to Studios to get there in time for a 10 am opening? It currently says Skyliner opens at 9 but not sure how that works from the Riviera station or if would be better to drive to the park from the Riviera.
Thanks.

We stayed at Pop and always got in line super early for the skyliner. As long as we were one of the first people in line, we got to CB and were not merged with CB people. It also appeared that Riviera people that arrived early were not merged. We Always made it the park well before the cars were being let inside. We did Minnie & Mickey first since that always had the longest line throughout the day and were off with 20 minutes to spare before 10:00. We considered taking Uber to the park before we got there and I am so glad we didn't, because we would have been behind all the people getting off the skyliner.

Stayed at Riviera at the end of July and they started loading at the Riviera station at approx. 9:05 am. We were inside DHS by 9:25 am. This was prior to CBR reopening, so there will be more people trying to board the DHS line at the CBR station.

If you drive, be aware they are not letting vehicles into the DHS parking lot until around 9:15 am.

Definitely take the Skyliner. As stated, it starts about 9 am. Since its a continuous load kind of thing it starts at all the stations at the same time. Its a fun ride.

Just back from another two night stay at Riviera. This time we headed down to the Riviera Skyliner station at 8:30 am and were the 2nd group in line. They actually started loading at Riviera at 8:50 am. There was already quite a line at the CBR station when we arrived (down past the Joffrey's kiosk). Those of us on the first several cabins coming from Riviera were directed to a line in the middle of the CBR station, thus skipping ahead of nearly 95% of those already in line at CBR.

There also appeared to be a long line down the ramp on the AoA/POP side of the CBR station.
Unless they've added something since the shutdown, the ramp on the Pop end doesn't connect to anything. I have seen it used as an overflow queue, just running down the ramp and back up again.

That's what we experienced as well. As long as you are one of the first groups from Pop or Riviera, you skip past the CBR people.

Haven't been on the AoA/POP line, so didn't realize that ramp was short.
