We have used mobile ordering often. However, we haven’t since dining credits have been accepted and thus increasing the pool of potential orderers. Anyone have recent experiences? Is it still relatively quick?

We used it at Satu'li Canteen, Harambe Mkt., Columbia Harbor House and Aloha Isle on our trip the week of 3/4. All were very quick. Usually hit I'm Here when the restaurant was in sight. Very happy with it.

I used it during President's week when the line at Columbia Harbor house was out the door and nearly down to the Haunted Mansion and there were maybe 4 people total picking up mobile orders.

We used it at Flame Tree on Friday - line to order was long but there wasn't a single person in line for mobile pick-up.

Everyone who won't use it due to lack of room charge, keep it up and keep it quiet for the rest of us! The convenience is totally worth not using gift cards. On a qs the savings is a couple of $$ and my time on vacation skipping that HUGE line is worth WAY more!

waaaahhhhh I am whining over it though! We buy discounted gift cards at Bj's over the year and save quite a bit for the cost of dining on our trips. I wanted to try the convenience of mobile ordering, but guess its not gonna happen!

well for me it would be almost double the cost off a meal so i rather stay in the line then

Question, since I'll be there on a business trip: does the cashier provide an itemized receipt when you pick up your order?

how is it double the cost of a meal? For me and the kid it was like $30 for one CS meal, $28.50 if I use gift cards which I buy at 5% off at Target.

I want to know where I can get gift cards at 50% off!

how much do you save at BJ's? Like I said, I buy target Disney gift cards for the majority of my expenses too and save the 5% and while it does add up over multiple hundreds of dollars, over the cost of a quick service meal it's not enough for me to worry about. That said we eat mostly TS and the occasional QS... if I ate 3 QS meals a day it might make more of a difference and were feeding a huge crowd. Even then the time spent in line is not worth it to me, I generally book mostly TS because the line situation at QS is a no go for me with my kiddo... so even though I can't use a discounted gift card it is actually saving me money overall by having QS as an option in the first place!

Key word is "relatively"- HAHA. We were in MK on 3/10 and we use the app to order at Pinocchio Village Haus and at Cosmic Rays. We ordered from PVH as we left Little Mermaid, I hit the "we're here and waiting button" as soon as I was done and heading to PVH- our food took about 30 min. It was crowded at the restaurant, it was about 1:30pm and I'm sure by the time we got our food, we might still have been in line waiting to order. Cosmic Rays was fast, about 5 min but we only ordered snacks so there was nothing to heat up and make. I prefer the app since my CC is in there and the receipt is emailed to me.

The discounts at BJs Costco are 5%. I have heard of people using their discover card or other CC to buy the gifts cards and then getting cash back on those purchases when offered but that's not always guaranteed but it's the same discount as the Target Red Card. 5% Not 50%. If someone has a 50% off connection we need a hook up :)

The 5% you save on gift cards is no where near the convenience we get from just putting it all on a card and paying that each month. There are many things not worth fussing over for 5%. To each his own.

when buying our 100.00 gc's they cost 94.99 so for over 1000.00 in gc's it adds up! plus buying them with the disney visa earns rewards on top of that, its a decent chunk. think we have 1,500.00 but yeah to each his own, its all good!!!

Used mobile ordering for the first time on our last trip. While waiting for the Jungle Cruise to dock I placed an order for our Dole Whips. By the time we got up there they were ready - no line for us!
Wish they would bring it to the countries in Epcot...
