Looks like Disney has changed some menu's in anticipation of summer season. I had made a post earlier about Sci-fi changing it's menu in the last couple days and then after checking other menu's of places we are eating next week noticed more changes (50's and Beaches and Cream for sure). Just giving everyone a heads up in case they had their heart set on something. Check the menu's on Disney's site as Allears is not updated yet. I had carefully chosen restaurants based on thumbing as well as them having options for me and my daughters (vegan/vegetarian) and some options are no longer there.

Oh No! They TOTALLY revamped Sanaa's menu. I am eating there on Tuesday and they had so many tasty looking veggie options! Mostly gone! No more samosas, chickpea cakes, vegetarian curries etc. Everything has changed :(

Go at lunch instead! It seems like they still have those offerings at lunch. Bonus: you get to see the animals roaming around at lunch! :ewok:

Noooo :( I can't believe they would just wipe out the vegetarian foods, though. Maybe it's still being worked on? Or there might be a separate vegetarian/vegan menu like Jiko? Sanaa is one of my favorites because of their great vegetarian options. If you go on Tuesday, let us know what it's like!

I had planned an early dinner (5:30) so we could see the animals an go after we were done at Blizzard Beach. We leave tomorrow so it's kind of hard (next to impossible) to rearrange my days at this stage in the game over a menu change. I have all my ADR's/ FP+/ park days at set now.

I will report back, I will likely keep my ADR as everything is set now. Looks like some of the options are still available on the lunch menu, maybe they will still let me order them at dinner time? This is the one reservation I was most looking forward to. The entire dinner menu is changed, not just the vegetarian choices.

So aside from Sanaa, Beaches and Cream and Sci Fi, have any other menus changed? Im really disappointed by the Sanaa changes!!!

Maybe they will bring back the taco salad to Tortuga

Ugh!!! They took the vegetarian spaghetti and soy protein dish off the menu at 50's Primetime! But I notice on the dinner menu that they still have the "whole grain spaghetti and meatless meatballs" dish on the kids' menu... I assume I could probably just order an adult-sized portion of that with no problem. I wonder why they took so many vegetarian items of certain menus? That makes very little sense to me, seeing how inclusive and accommodating Disney dining really is compared to most theme parks.

I hope the vegetarian options will still be available for dinner at Sanaa. While I'm not a vegetarian, I usually only eat meat a couple times a week or less, and the vegetarian options at Sanaa sounded good.

With the addition of so many allergen free menus, they might have done what Jikos does and made a separate vegetarian menu. I certainly hope so. I was really disappointed in many of my vegan meals in April.

I am not sure, I only looked at the ones I am going to next week. I looked at the non-disney ones I am going to (Raglan Road, T-rex, Yak&Yeti) and those look the same. BOG lunch looks the same as well. Not sure on any others.

That is too bad. I had high hopes for eating as a vegan at Disney. It really is to late for me to change much at this point as I am leaving in the morning. I am still really excited about m trip and hope I come back with good reviews:)

I hope you have a wonderful trip!!! Please do let us know your experience with vegan eating when you return! I am about 95% vegan (will occasionally eat eggs, but I never eat cheese for a variety of medically-related reasons), so I will be excited to hear from you. :)

For what it's worth, one of the best vegan meals I've ever had in my entire life was the Gardein chik'n and roasted vegetable dish at Coral Reef two years ago. Thankfully, that one is still on the menu! If you can, you definitely ought to give it a try!

Have a magical time!!!

Bread service is still there, as is the salad sampler.

In addition, under "Potjie Inspired", there are vegetarian choices: Seasonal Greens and Tomatoes, Paneer Tikka, Lentil Dhal, or Chickpea Wat served with Basmati Rice or Five-Grain Pilaf. It looks like the combined the "slow cooked" entree with the "vegetarian sampler".

Also, like PP said, I would bet you can get samosas since they're on the lunch menu.

Yes I see that but the price for the "vegetarian sampler" used to be $17.99, now the same meal will cost $23.99. Oh well!

Well, that is ridiculous ... I have to just shut my eyes to the prices when I go to Disney. Otherwise, I'll go crazy!

Read the other thread and decided to check out all the restaurant menus for our upcoming trip. DD is vegetarian. Le Cellier changed the pasta dish to something with squash and pear. DD not impressed. Can't remember if Narcoossees had a vegetarian option listed nefore, but no option on their new menu. Noodle bowl still available at HBD, DD can't wait to eat that again. All our other reservations are at buffets, so she can find something to eat.
