For those just finishing your cruise, were you able to make your Palo reservations right away or was there a specific time later on? Where do you make them?
Thanks!

Do you remember what time you got on the ship? Was it the earliest arrival time (noonish) or later in the day?

When you arrive at the terminal, you will go thru a very fast security check where they scan your bags. Once thru that, you take an escalator upstairs and get in line at one of the many service counters. It is important that you already have all your tickets filled out. We probably waited in that line for 30 minutes (bad line!). Next you get into another line that snakes all around the terminal and that is the line to get on the ship. If you can, have someone in your party hold your spot in the 2nd line. I can't remember if adults need to show ID at check in.

When you check in, you will get your id card and it will list your dining rotation. You can then figure out from there what night that you want to try to get Palo's.

I think we boarded around 12:30. There are 2 lines and both lines you get your picture taken. Once on board, I headed straight for the Rockin D Lounge which is on the same level you board. You just head to the right. Once there, they give you a number and you wait to be called to make your reservation. I originally wanted a 7 pm ressie on Monday. They limit the times for tables for 2 so all those were taken. We got 6 pm. That was actually very nice because we were early enough to see the sunset.

Our server was Marco and he was very charming and an excellent waiter. He is from Florence Italy and speaks with a heavy accent. You can request a waiter and they will do their best to accomodate. At reservation making time, you can also make your reservation for High Tea and the Champagne brunch. You don't have to wait until your number is called to make the reservation. High Tea was all full when I got there.

We went to the brunch on Thursday and it was fabulous. I thought it was the best meal I had all week. I loved it.

If you go to the Rockin' D lounge when you first arrive, you should have no trouble getting the day that you want. You might not get the exact time, but you should get the day.

Thanks, toobusymom!
When we were on the Wonder, they didn't start taking the ressies until at least an hour later. I would much rather take care of it right away and then enjoy my lunch! So I should get a number and then immediately get the brunch and tea ressies made.
Thanks for the info!

Hi- just having returned from the 3/15 7-day western cruise my experience was a little different. We didn't get to the Palo or spa reservation desk until one hour after it opened and were able to get everything we wanted immediately- Palo dinner and brunch resies on sea days, 3 spa resies including the cabana massage-- all our first choices. Very smooth and stress-free....
