Received New WDW Planning Video

We received our new WDW planning video yesterday. It is called Magical Gatherings and covers Mission Space,and the new Wishes show. We watched it as soon as we finished dinner last night, and must have gotten 20 hugs from our 3 y.o. DD while it was playing. Now our January trip seems closer than ever. Cindy's resv for breakfast booked on Monday and planning video on Tuesday. What a wonderful start to a week!

i can relate! we got our planning video and q & c vouchers in the mail tuesday...it was defintely a zippity-doo-dah day!

the new video is really good, especially the footage of mickey's philharmagic! the color is wonderful, looks so much better than recent videos for some reason.

If they sent me an "old" one a couple of months ago, can I get the new one too?? Mine does not have Mission Space.

I ordered a DVD about 2.5 weeks ago ... I'm still waiting for mine. I can't wait, sounds great

i ordered one a month ago and recieved it about 2 weeks ago.. it was the old copy the same i got for my trip in may, those of you who got the newest one with mission: space - when did you order it and was it by phone or through the website? the new video sounds great!!

I just ordered mine a few minutes ago thru the Disney World website. They said it should be 2-3 weeks. There was a choice of VHS or DVD, I ordered DVD. Chip126, going the same day as you so we'll see if it comes before we go. See ya there!

Geez....I ordered mine the very first day disney updated it's website to include all the Magical Gathering information. Must be over a month ago by now!! Hope it hurries up and comes soon!!

I just received my DVD yesterday. Watched most of it last evening. It is awesome, with video of the different parks, footage of the different resorts, and park maps. It has much more detail than the VHS version has. They have a section on Pal Mickey on the DVD also. I think it took about 2 weeks to arrive from the time I ordered it on the web site. You will enjoy it when it arrives.

I got my new DVD a few days back, but I turned it off after a few minutes because I just couldn't handle the "cuteness" of it at the time. They used to have really excellent and informative videos, now they are mostly people talking about how great the parks and attractions are. I'll give it another try in a little while.

BTW, in past years there were three different version of the planning videos, which may be the case again this year.

I got my DVD version yesterday, and watched it last night. Since I am the planner for our "magical gathering" of 20+, I think I am going to order it for other family members. I found it very informative, much more so than the last couple of years.

I ordered mine off the website one of the first days after the "Magical Gatherings" was officially announced. I just got the DVD yesterday (I know it took at least a month). Haven't watched it yet, maybe tonight!
