I just got my tickets to the Rebel Rendezvous for the opening of the Star Wars Weekends and I am so excited!!:cool1:

Is anyone else planning on going? I'd love to get thoughts on what it may be like :goodvibes

My wife and I are going!

Tickets are still available... I thought for sure they would sell out quickly. The high price is probably just too much for people though.

I don't quite understand, forgive me.....all I can find is that for $250 per person you can have access to purchase merchandise, some of it exclusive, a day before the general public.

Is there more to it? Or am I just not a collector so I don't understand?

Nope that's pretty much it in a nutshell. Personally I would demand Han Solo to come with the purchases.:thumbsup2

Those who are have a good time. I will be living vicariously through you

There is a bit more to it than that:

- Ashley Eckstein meet & greet and product signing, featuring the new collection of Her Universe apparel

- Rebel activities, including special meet & greet and signing opportunities with characters and Disney artists

- Limited edition recruitment pack (includes a custom messenger bag, cadet hat, tumbler, lanyard, pin & medal set). Items are only available to Rebel Rendezvous attendees on May 15, 2014.

My guess there will also be a few surprises thrown in. I'm curious to see what activities and characters there are.

It reminds me a bit of the Sorcerer's Tickets for the D23 Expo actually (which I've also done). A bunch of shopping with NO crowds and some cool exclusive activities.

My friend and I are going too.

Going from the amount of time it took to get registered I also was for sure expecting the event would sell out more quick.

I'll be on a cruise until the 17th...but wow, the price of that. And the merchandise was mostly pins and Disney character crossovers, not my thing.

Yes. They give you some minor swag too. Bags and hats and lanyards, etc. Plus character meetings if you're into that sort of thing. It's not that hard to meet Ashley if you want to, at least it hasn't been. The costumed characters, that's different.

Some of that merchandise is in high demand for collectors, and it means they won't have to camp out in front of DHS all night to be first in line.

I thought they would go fast also. I was at my laptop the second it opened getting mine. The Price is pretty painful but what prices at Disney are not :thumbsup2

Hi,
Do you get actual tickets for the event or is it something you print out?

I'm golng with the hubby. Rebel Rendezvous & all- ponied up the cash. I am wondering too, as some noted, if we should print out our confirmations? Where do we go to pick up the Rebel merchandise? What are the special events & when can we find out? It's only a week until it happens - so excited!

I was wondering the same thing. Do we need to bring the confirmation to get a wristband? Where do we go to get access to the event area?

I just got off the phone with Disney Events. The CM told me to go to Sound Stage 1 and show a photo ID to get into the event.

I have no idea where Sound Stage 1 is....I'm assuming someone here will know and can let me know! :)

It's the building between TSMM and Backlot Tour. That where Darth's Mall will be located this year

I wrote the events email and they just told me:
We are happy to report that a "what to know before you go" email is being drafted that will answer all of your below questions. This will be sent in the next few days!
