Reassign AP after Parksaver upgrade? Questions

So I bought 4 Parksaver tix - waiting on the codes. Will assign the tix to 4 dummy accounts in MDE so as not to use them until our current APs expire. However, I plan to upgrade the PS tix to DVC AP vouchers (new, not renewal) while we are at world in August. Since our current AP's will not yet be expired, the AP vouchers will still be assigned to the dummy accounts (I assume). So... are AP vouchers able to be reassigned to a different person? I'm pretty sure you can't reassign APs like you can regular tickets. So how do I handle this?

ETA: the referenced garbage posts were a series of illegible spam posts that took up the whole first page of the boards the other morning and have since been deleted. My original post got lost amidst them so I bumped it. Didn't want anyone to think that I was referring to anyone's valid post as garbage.

I am not 100% sure but I think you can reassign your ticket before you activate then I would have both accounts on MDE linked as friends at worst you could just keep that account and yes it as your account

Can you reassign an AP voucher before its activated? Yes, absolutely.

Can you upgrade a park savers ticket to a DVC AP voucher? Highly unlikely. You have to use in person, and I don't believe they can sell DVC AP vouchers at the ticket booth. They can only sell actual, activated AP's.

Agree with above poster. I know you can reassign an ap voucher to another person. I just did this in my mde account. Not sure that your plan of upgrading a park savers ticket to an ap voucher will work.

If you try it, make sure you are working with a knowledgeable cm and make sure they understand your plan in advance!

Seems like I remember someone on another thread that said they did upgrade to a DVC voucher. I'll search for it, but if anyone has done this, please post. I was more concerned about the reassigning, but now concerned about just being able to upgrade also!

You beat me to it - thanks! Knew I saw it somewhere, but there are lots of threads on bridging/updating, etc. Plus searching on a phone isn't so easy. especially when driving an 18 wheeler on the highway.

So at least hopefully I don't need to worry about the actual upgrade, and it sounds like the reassignment will also be possible. Now just crossing fingers that I get a CM who knows what they're doing.
