Reasonable cost for a (UGH) root canal?

I second the suggestion to see if the endo can do the temporary crown and you wiat to get the permanent crown next year. I had to get a RC on a molar when I had my braces on. We waited and did the perm crown when my braces came off, about 10 months later.
