I just signed up for Touring Plans. So far my trip looks pretty good compared to their crowd calendar except for one. I have us scheduled for HS on a Wed (TP Crowd Level: 4 - EMH:AM) and MK on a Thurs (TO Crowd Level: 5 - EMH:AM). After looking at their calendar they have MK at a 4 for that Wed and HS at a 3 for Thurs. Thinking of swapping our park days.

Would you rely on this enough to rearrange your trip? Is it not a big enough difference to bother? We have our Jedi Mickey Fantasmic package schedule on Wed. Not sure if I'd be able to reschedule that or not.

I subscribed to Touring Plans once before a trip and found that EVERY DAY we had planned a day in a "not recommended" park. As we already had ADR's booked and didn't really want to change our plans we ignored the "warnings" and proceeded. We had a wonderful time regardless and have not bothered with touring plans since. That said we are frequent visitors and pretty casual about our visits ... we get to the parks early and do what we can do and missing anything is not a big deal for us ... we have our faves but if we can't get on, no worries we'll catch it next time!

Frankly, the crowd levels you are describing sound absolutely FABULOUS! I have never been to any park on a day where the crowds were predicted to be below a 9 ... although more than once we were surprised at the lack of crowds we ACTUALLY encountered. I wouldn't change anything if your plans are set and you are pleased with them!

Have a wonderful time ... obviously we won't be running into you on Spring Break!

Between a 3 and a 4, would not switch.

If it was between a 3 and a 9, I *might* consider it.

To me, that difference is neglible enough to stay with my plans. We don't really use touring plans anyway. We do plan with EMH in mind, though. If on site, we usually do the morning EMH parks.

I love touring plans. I find them really helpful for planning when to visit WDW, but for these one point differences in crowds, I'd go with what you originally planned. It sounds like your'e going at a low crowd time, so it really won't matter.

Given you're looking good on every other day............on the surface I wouldn't change. If it isn't going to mess your plan then you could.......but only if you don't mess the essence of the plan (did I just write that? :chat:). I ran into a similar situation but because of what we wanted to do that morning (Segway Tour @ Ft. Wilderness) we couldn't do it.............we sucked it up and everything worked out. Keep in mind these are estimates, with Touring Plans, based on historical information.

For more data to make your decision check out some other crowd calendars too. Also check the *actual* crowd levels that Touring Plans shows historically from the same time last year.

I agree with the two PPs. The crowd levels are pretty low, lower than anytime we go, and there is sufficient room for error for that little difference in estimates.

Thank you. I think I will leave it as is. I really hate to reschedule my ADRs...unless BOG dinner opens up and then I'm all for rearranging. Last time we went, it was the week prior to Memorial Day. It was hot, but crowds were really manageable. We choose the same week again for this trip just for that reason. Hoping that I will be able to get everyone up and moving to make it to the parks for the early EMH. I really prefer the evening ones to the AM EMH.

I was a little hesitant to put $10 into Touring Plans, but it has some useful information. I don't think I'll go with a detailed touring plan, but will really take some of their advice. For some reason, we always start on the opposite side of the park and do Adventureland first. They suggest starting in Fantasyland. Think we'll try that approach this time. Still have so much more reading and planning to do!

Not enough of a difference to make the switch in my opinion.

MK level 5 (according to TP) is where we personally feel we notice the crowds being higher. Having said that, we've done MK a few times at a 5 or more, simply because we want it to be our last full day before we leave, which puts MK on a Saturday which tend to be busier. We still have an amazing time.
