Really stupid commercials

We've talked about annoying commercials, commercials that are funny...now for the stupid ones. Similar to the annoying, but leave you with that, "What the...?" feeling.

My first nomination:

The new V8 commercials, the ones that show a, African American guy dancing, with all this energy, and at the end, it turns out it was a different person who happened to drink a V8.

It's like it's saying, "Drink V8! It'll make you feel like a black man who can dance!"

(And please no one be offended by my saying "black man." I am only syaing how truly stupid this commercial is.

I hate the new one for Dairy Queen's cheesecake something or other. Shows a man with a baby in a baby carrier and he won't let him have any ice cream. The baby kicks him in the groin and head butts him. It's just appalling.

The TAMPAX PEARL commercial

You know the one... the rowboat springs a leak and she stops it up with a TAMPON?! What genius thought that one up?

the woman tacking an offer for a reward for her lost rodent to a pole, as the missing rodent crawls around under her shirt and some guy ties to retreive to get the reward.

Theres a commericial for a diet pill where this "doc" who comes on and says "Hi I'm Dr Something-or-other and no offense to casual dieters but if you only want to lose 10 or 15 pounds then this product isn't for you.."

I HATE that! Everyone in the family yells.. Hey mom your favorite commercial is on!

Yeah like those "casual dieters" out there are so offended because this product isn't for them. Do YOU know any casual dieters, dieters who do it just for the fun of it..who don't REALLY want to lose weight, they just like to deprive themselves for the fun of it????

I'm still utterly confused/bother by the McCain Golden Crisps commercial where the guy is speaking gibberish and the slogan is something like "you wont get how good they are until you try them"...
It's really stupid AND annoying...Has anyone else seen this one? Kinda makes me want to take a bat to my TV...

How about the Quizno's sub ad...are those sock puppets....hamsters....what? WEIRD!

On the website from they guy that created them they are called spongemonkeys.....from some underground info i found out that they are hampsters laying on their sides with cartoon eyes/mouths added.
They guys also did an ad a few years back for MTV with kittens.

Watch any sporting event and the commercial is on all the time.

I really dislike the Kitchen Fresh Chicken commercials and slogan (new name?) for KFC . "Kitchen Fresh" sounds like some sort of air freshener or cleanser - it definitely does NOT make me want to eat chicken. The chicken is fried, we all know it is fried, so I wish they'd just bring back the colonel and call it "Kentucky Fried Chicken".

I also don't like McDonald's "I'm lovin' it" commercials.

That "black man" is Savion Glover, quite an accomplished young man in the dancing world! In addition to being an awesome dancer, he's also a choreographer and a director. I LOVE watching him dance, so I really don't mind those commercials

That made me laugh! And then I got to thinking, why even take ANY on a rowboat on a date? It's not like there would be a place to, uh... well, you know... I never really thought about how stupid that commercial is until now! (I've always thought ALL commercials of the type are annoying, but this one takes it to a whole new level.)

I dislike most McDonalds commercials, though I don't mind the one with the lady working at an office surrounded by cute guys...it always makes me smile for some reason....... Doesn't make any sense though, well, don't see how it relates to McDonalds anyway...

I hate the Wayne Brady one where he's singing about his coffee creamer and his "smiley-face" cup. And then his "wife" catches him and he stops singing. Yeah...his wife...that's it... It's so flamola. It gives me major massengil chills.
