I really haven't traveled much so I am not sure what I can and can't do about this.
To make a long story short, I was quoted a rate of $86.24 including tax for AS-Sports Dec 26 to Jan 3, but when I checked this morning I was charged a deposite of $127.68.
I was told by wdw reservations that $114 plus tax is the going rate for a room at AS-Sports from Dec 26 to Jan 3.
I was told by reservation people at usahotelguide.com that wdw reservations set up one rate through them, but is charging me another rate and all they can do is cancel the reservation for me.
WDW reservation did tell me that the reservation isn't through wdw reservation, but directly through usahotelguide.com and any changes I want to make (room requests) need to be made through them since the hold the reservation.
Both my print out after the reservation was made and my confirmation e-mail states in black and white confirmed room rate of $77.00, plus tax ($9.24) per night, not $114 plus tax (13.68) a night.
Even after I made the reservation I contacted the reservation department to make sure it was all on the up and up and was told twice that the rate was correct and that aslong as I brought the confirmation e-mail with me everything would be fine. Even when I called this morning, I was told that the rate of $77 was correct and that wdw just made a mistake.
Only after I contacted customer service was I told that they were given one rate by wdw reservations charging me another.
I really need your help. Since they guaranteed the rate on both of my reservation confirmation pages, shouldn't usahotelguide.com have to honor what they quoted me, since that is the reason I went with them in the first place.
Any help would be great.
Jason
