Really fed up with Verizon

Warning: annoyed customer vent ahead.

I moved out of my apartment at the end of July, and I called to cancel my internet from Verizon before that time. They said OK, no problems. They'll cancel it at the end of July. Wouldn't you know, I just got my credit card statement, and they charged me for August! With the internet, you pay in advance for the month. So I am calling them now, I've already been on hold for a good 15 minutes. And they're not even playing good music while I'm on hold! It's all staticy!
 
back at the end of April we switched from having Verizon as our landline, to VOIP with our internet provider (Atlantic Broadband), this past week I got a call from a collection agency..had no clue what they were talking about..something about a past due account with Verizon..I finally get hold of someone at Verizon (btw..they do have an online chat person available most of the time)..who located our account..and come to find out..even though they shut off our phone service on the right date..they proceeded to bill us for May, June, July and August?..I had a fit..demanded that they take care of it immediately, made THEM call the collection agency, and told them I wanted a letter in writing saying the entire situation was their fault and was resolved..I got the letter 2 days later..and a call from the same Verizon rep that day making sure I got it..she also told me she personally called the collection agency and had it taken care of..
will I ever use Verizon again for anything...heck NO!
