I have not even attempted to read this thread...just your post. If you recall almost half of the people in the USA voted against Obama....and there for those half will have poor opinions of how Obama/Representatives is handling things....even ones that did vote for him are questioning.

So I say....what's good for the goose is good for the gander....it works both ways....and there are 2 things in this world that you cant win about in argument, and that is Religion and Politics.

I have voted for many Presidents and there has not been one where there was 100% approval ratings for. So the bashing will continue with Obama and the POTUS after him and so on and so on and so on.....

so to everyone that thinks it's fair to bash one but not the other......your wrong....you may think that one is worse than the other...maybe, will see, and time will tell. Who knows where Obama will be in 4 to 8 years.

I clearly stated that my opinions applied to anywhere who's only been in office for such a short amount of time. I also mentioned and aknowledged the Bush bashing that has taken place...clarifying that it was some time however before it was anything more than "he stole the office"...it took some serious amount of time before real dissent for GWB came to pass.

Let me say it again...it blows my mind how quickly the complaining began! People are already condemning his policies when its far too soon to know what affect they'll have!

I'd feel this way whether it was Obama, McCain...GWB or Ronald McDonald in office!!! It's too freaking soon!!! Unless someone can show me the economic theory that proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that before the ink has dried the plan has failed...then we haven't given it time to succeed OR fail!!!

Besides...whether you're a fan of Obama or not...do these boards REALLY need so many threads pretty much saying the same rhetoric over and over?

Again...I felt the same way during the past few years of GWB's time in office...but it wasn't until last night that I finally reached my boiling point...noticing that 80% of the threads on the first page ALONE were sophomoric and repetitive poltitical rants!

Who, specifically, is a racist here at the DIS, and other than crticizing Obama what clear evidence do you have. It's a serious accusation, and it's only fair that you provide the evidence. I am blowing off steam......I am so tired of our representatives...all of them in every state in every office.....Dem's and Rep......and I also blame many of us for letting them get away with everything they have.

I am mad at how they get off with cheating on there tax's and stuff like that.

I am mad at how everyone in this administration is blaming the last administration when they were all apart of it themselves. The Dem's had the last 2 years and Pelosi saying know she was going to make the world Rock and did nothing....I am not a pelosi fan by the way....

They are all to blame for everything. They were all there....at the same time in the same place. They did not work together but against each other as they are today.

This Spending Bill with all the earmarks in it has me in an uproar. Teachers in my sons school are losing there jobs and the representatives are more concerned about giving moneys to such things as pig odor research.....

I dont care who's fault it is....they are all to blame. Yes Obama also because he did not have to send out this bill the way it is. He could have sent a smaller bill out with no wants and just needs than came back to the table and went line through line on all the nonsense spending.

The intent of my post was to point out that we had plenty of conservative posters willing to hold up a tabloid when it was vilifying a prominent Democrat.



I quoted Magic Mom because the content of her post was what I was commenting on, and there seem to be several things going on in this thread. I wasn't trying to accuse her directly of being someone who had done this.
