I rode Nemo with my dd about 5 times today and I have to say that this attraction is a wonderful addition to the pavilion!! The que is pretty long and wonderfully themed......and yes, some of the technology that is seen on the new Little Mermaid DVD (the never made ride) is used in the que for this attraction. I was really impressed, but I did not go in with high expectations. The old Sea Cabs are nothing compared to this!

The entrance is themed to a beach boardwalk....make sure to look down and see the "wood planks." From the beach you go under the sea...... The "projections into the tank" that you have heard about only account for 4 scenes in the ride....so it's more than looking into the tanks and seeing fish swimming around. All-in-all an enjoyable addition to The Seas with Nemo and Friends!!

I did not take any pictures, but for those who have the willpower......wait and see it for yourself when you go to visit.

The line for Turtle Talk was out of control and was almost to the entrance/exit of the pavilion. Some guests didn't even know what they were waiting for. ...they just joined the line as soon as they entered the pavilion. Something really needs to be done. Hopefully the new ride entrance will help to disperse the crowds for Turtle Talk.

"It's a big blue world......"

Thanks for sharing your opinions of this attraction. I look forward to seeing it for myself. :cool1:

Thanks so much for posting. :) We can't wait to go on this attraction. Our AP's were screaming to go to this opening, but no airfare put the brakes on. :rotfl:
Our Nov-Dec. trip can't come soon enough.

What is the attraction itself like? A boat, a cab? What do you ride on/in?

You ride in a clam mobile. I think the ride exit is going to create even more problems for Turtle talk unless Disney changes the line. It's a shame they didn't make a bigger theatre for Crush.

I agree, Safetymom. Even when we rode today people would congregate right by the end of the moving walkway where you exit. Plus, it's hard to exit the pavilion since the line for Turtle Talk is creating such congestion.

You board a clam shell and take a slow moving ride under the sea to help find Nemo who is playing hide-n-seek from his dad (Marlin).

I had really high hopes that the new ride through portion would significantly improve the problem with the Turtle Talk lines. But it sounds like the massive amount of clammobiles, coupled with the conveyorbelt mode of transport, have only increased the problem. I hope the doors out of the pavilion are only being used as an exit, and not an in and out like they were previous to the clammobiles. Any info on that?

I think it is too early to tell what the effect will be on the lines for Turtle Talk......guess we can only hope for the best. I saw an area in the que where you can bypass the ride portion, so I think everyone will be entering through the regular entrance starting soon. Both the loading and unloading areas for the ride are clearly visible from inside the main area of the pavilion.

Rumor has it that Turtle Talk will be relocated to the old Seas Movie theater later this year. :confused3

Hmmmmm......I thought the new que line was inside the old theater....at least that is the way I perceived it to be. I do think moving Turtle Talk to another location or a new theater would be a great idea though.

I can't wait to go on the new ride! Turtle Talk was the longest line we waited in, but it's because the theatre is small. It still wasn't too bad. We waited around 30mins and you're inside, so I can't complain. It was well worth the wait and you can beat the heat in there! :thumbsup2

I can't wait to ride this next year. This year the line for Turtle talk was really long. Last year we got right on!!

That was my perception as well. I was trying to look around and get my bearings. It seemed to me that the "under water" part of the line was the old theater.

Okay, that makes sense now. If they are still allowing guests to enter the pavilion through the exit as well as the entrance to the ride through, than there is nothing that they can do to control the occupancy of the pavilion itself.

The old "sea cab" setup & movie/hydrolator portion allowed the CMs to control how many patrons were milling about in the aquarium area. They would often hold guests in the movie theatre longer to allow the crowds to disperse inside. Now there is probably little control for traffic flow.

Thanks for the info. Five more months and I'll be seeing for myself! :goodvibes
