Really enjoyed Boathouse

Had dinner at Boathouse tonight and just had to say how much I enjoyed it. We're at the end of our trip and it was the best meal we had while here. The food was really good and the service was exceptional. And, while expensive by real world comparison, it was absolutely reasonable when comparing to other WDW table service restaurants. For instance, I spent less here than for dinner at Ohana and it was miles better.
Maybe my expectations have been skewed after 10 days of WDW restaurants but this was a great way to cap off our trip. I highly recommend this place if it is an option for you.

glad to hear you liked it. We also have it as our going away present on our food and wine trip. I have eaten at Gibson's a few times in the Windy City and it figures that they would make it good.

Excellent news. Last year, we had a meal booked here, but cancelled because we were feeling bloated and full after days of Disney dining. This year, we have a lunch reservation early in the trip and plan on keeping it. It looks just spectacular in there. We. Cant. Wait.

Good to hear...I've heard good things but haven't gone yet.

And new good food/service at WDW is welcome...they are charging you for that everywhere now - regardless of whether you get it or not.

Thanks for the post! Cali Grille is my top choice for a signature this October, but I haven't been able to snag a reservation yet. I was considering Boathouse as my backup.

Glad to hear you enjoyed it. We ate there for lunch when it first opened, and no one was impressed. Perhaps we'll give it another go.
