Really dumb taxi question...

I feel silly for asking this, but it is bothering me...

If you want to get a taxi from your hotel, how do you do it? Front desk? Just head out front? I seriously have no idea!

Please don't laugh at me too hard!

Taxis are staged out front at most WDW resort hotels. If there's not one there when you need it, the cast members at the front desk or outside the lobby can call one for you, and it will arrive in a few minutes.

We just go down and ask the bag services podium outside where the crubside drop off is. They will call Mears for a taxi.
Stupid question? no, as we had to ask the front desk at the hotel.

I've actually called right before heading down from my room because there have been times when there have been none waiting. They had them waiting there by the time we walked down.
