Really Dumb Question -- Can I Use a CC at Counter Service Places?

We've always paid w/cash or Traveler's Checks in the past but this next trip thought we'd take our new rewards CC and use it to earn cash back on everything ...

But do the counter service places accept CCs?

We never carry cash. Yes, you can use credit cards and if you are staying on property, you can charge it to your room, which can be covered by credit card.
