Really dumb question about the Disboards

I was tagless until this summer and when I finally got tagged, I was SO THRILLED! (Pretty sad how little it takes to thrill a laid off librarian...)

Don't touch it is my advice, it'll get screwed up.

DON'T TOUCH YOUR TAGS!

You will lose it if you try to change it yourself. I think that once you get an "official" tag from the tag fairy or you change your tag yourself the program that changes you from Earning My Ears to Mouseketeer to Veteran is no longer enabled so it won't change automatically.

Thank you! I'm happy as a Mousketeer..my tag means more to me than my status. Like I said, I was just wonderin....and now I know!

Ok, I just want to preface this question by saying this is not important, I am not mad or upset, just curious. How do you get the title of DIS Veteran? I thought it would happen when I hit 1,000 posts, but I'm still a Mousketeer. And then I notice other people who are under 1,000 posts who are DIS Veterans. Is it length of time since you became a member? Like I said, it's no biggie, just wondering!

it looks like you've been upgraded now. i used to have a tag and then i messed with the settings and poof it was gone,it said something about wanting to live and die in celebration. then i asked about the dis veteran tag and got "special " added .it really is a mystery,i wont mess with the settings again.lol

There is more than 1 Tag Fairy but they only live on the Dis as far as we know.

There is a purple fairy... I used to have all this information on file.
