Really Disappointed!

I booked my Disney Honeymoon a few months ago...Im a florida resident, however there were NO discounts for the dates we booked...March 31-April 6...we booked the Grand Floridian with park hopper, water parks, dining the works...and as the person who took our reservation told us...no discounts were around...but keep looking....so about a week ago I saw this posted here:

I called the first person I talked to told me the offer was SOLD OUT..whatever..Since he seemed to have trouble finding our reservation etc... I tried a few days later to find out that I didn't book at the right time. I was really dissapointed that with the money we're spending there...we couldn't take advantage of this (small discount) offer...as well, we go to Disney a few times a year - stay at the park each time and have never received a discount code or offer ever!

Did you try a room only booking using the code FJJ?

I suggest checking disboards and mousesavers regularly. This site usually has the codes first!

First of all-Congratulations! I can see why you are upset and it does seem to be the case that sometimes you book early and get the best deal, and other times better offers come along. I'd call back and see if anything opened up, maybe mention it's your honeymoon. The room only rates might be available. The other option is to consider another resort, but since this isn't just another trip, that might not be what you wanted. I hope you get some kind of discount

If I were you I would keep checking the website daily people cancel reservations all the time you may get what you want if you keep checking. I did this with AP rates at the Poly last year, it took me about 3 weeks but a room finally opened up and I grabbed, LOL... Just check first thing every morning. Good Luck!

There IS a Florida Resident special for your dates right now - but unfortunately you are going at a very busy time and everything for the GF on the FL Res section of the WDW website looks like it's booked up - in fact it's showing there's only a 2 BR villa at OKW and it's $$$$. You might try calling though, and see what they say using code FJJ:
