My son performed in the Candlelight Processional last night. (No pay but they gave him two one-day Park passes that expire late 2008.
) We only needed one night and got a good deal at ASMU, my very least favorite resort.
Well, it WAS my least favorite but not anymore.
Our room was really nice - totally redone and modern and pretty. We just loved it and hated to leave to go to the parks. We checked in early about one or so and received excellent service. A towel Mickey greeted us in our room (4545) and everything was in good working order and was spotless.
We left for MGM about 2:15 to make the parade and, unfortunately, had a very long wait. Three MK buses came and went while we waited so I'm sure if you asked one of the people heading to MK about the bus service they would have had a much more positive review than I. We caught the boat to Epcot after the parade with no wait, did some rides, watched my son in the show (beautiful) then watched Holiday Illuminations, which was also beautiful. Bus service leaving the park was excellent. We had no wait at all.
The beds were comfy and we heard no noise, though I had insomnia anyway.
My husband was in a huge rush to leave this morning so he could go to work but he walked over to the food court for coffee.
I asked him if it was busy and he said they were barely open for business.
He had to hunt down a cashier and was told they don't start serving hot food until 7:00 am.
Btw, we noticed that there were games (trivia?) going on at the pool and read they have movies out there every evening. To all who are preparing to visit ASMU, lucky you, you're going to have a lot of fun.
