Real Wall-E in DisneyWorld??

My OH just found this video on YouTube of a real Wall-E robot, apparently in Disneyland CA.

I've read online that there was plans for this to roll out in Florida as well, has anyone seen or heard anything? I'd absolutely LOVE to see this!! From what I've read the plans were for Hollywood Studios but I can't find anything about it actually opening or anything.

Anyone shed any light?

I remember reading that there were some reliability issues but it was the weigh that was the biggest issue. CMs were concerned that Wall-E would roll over a childs foot with his tracks. Hence he was not out often.

Aww man, stupid health & safety rules again!

I think Wall-E's probably the only person my OH would be willing to have a pic taken with, lol, we both love him

Maybe they'll decide to make a Wall-E ride instead
