OMG! My rather flamboutant drama queen (by his own admission) gay friend was talking about this guy the other day--they go to alot of the same clubs. Even my friend "S" thinks this guys a bit over the top.

I think some of you are being too harsh on him.

As a sexual minority myself, I understand how frustrating it can be when people who have different priorities than you try to get involved and give their opinion.

Unless there is evidence that he is hurting someone (which there is NOT), then no one has any reason to call this man creepy or weird.

I have known of his website for a while now. He lives around Tampa and parties a lot in Ybor (at least he used to, haven't really looked at his site recently). I haven't ever seen him, but my friend does. I'm sure he's a really nice guy who just likes Peter Pan ALOT. Eh, whatever. He isn't hurting anything, and he definitely knows he is out of the norm and that people makes fun of him. He isn't gay, btw. He even posts on his page that he is looking for that special girl.

I'm sure! He has a 'friends' page and he apparently has a fan base AND local friends -- all of whom dress up (at least sometime) so he isn't the only one.

And I agree he's very eccentric, and I'm sure he realizes he is! When I first came across the page (posted on a newspaper columnist's blog a year or two ago) I thought the same thing as most of the people here -- weirdo, wacko etc. Now I guess I'm just used to it and realize he isn't hurting anything. Not exactly anything I'm interested in, but to each his own. And if he's 52, he needs to tell his secret to looking so young!
