Oh My ! Is DH usually such a clothes horse or is he afraid he is never going home again and doesn't want to leave behind any favorite items ?

I have the opposite with Fred, he thinks you can wear a pair of jeans until they can stand up by themselves ok, slight exaggeration but for a 27 day trip he would have to be convinced to bring more than 3 or 4 outfits

I've gotten DH to cull. He now has something like 1.5 - 2 times the amount of volume that DS and I have. Not bad. Maybe we'll look at it again tomorrow night. We'll see. It's going to get nuts here over the next couple of days.

First stop; after we clear customs and get the car......is Alison. We're having lunch together. I wanna get a SIM card and then we'll check into our hotel in Anaheim.

Do you have the address of the place we are meeting at? I think there is an AT&T store in that block, so you could take care of that before lunch.

I'm hoping by the time you arrive we have this house nonsense started out so that we can pop by and see it.

Not sure if you're taking it into account, but it's going to be a scorcher this weekend here. Temps cooled down last night and today, but in another two days we're going to be back up in the record temperatures.

Also I seem to have misplaced the information, but what time does our Wishes cruise start and when do we meet the boat driver. I know we'll all go right from dinner over there, but I'm just curious on the timing. I'm putting our schedule into Fran's phone so she knows what is going on.

Wishes cruise info was a bit sketchy when I booked. It's meant to be an hour before the fireworks; and we have Hallowishes that night. I think we meet at the CR boat dock at 8 - 8.30 pm. I was going to call to confirm time and location....might do that in the US.

Hmmmm that changes my whole thought of when you are leaving. For some reason I thought you got on the plane around noon my time. Now I realize it's more like 4PM.

That sounds like a plan. I'm thinking that since most of us are staying at BCV we may take the bus to MK and take the monorail from there. I will leave my scooter at the resort that night. Not sure about Fran or Bobbi. Its a long walk from the bus to the monorail so not sure how Fran wants to travel to and fro.

The dinner reservation is for 5:30 PM so we can habe a nice leisurely meal. I'm going to have to checkout the new menu online.

Yes, if you tell them you have an ADR at Cali Grill, there should be no problem. I have always kept the reservation number with me, but have not been asked for it. Get it from PIO to be sure!

I will not have the scooter with me. I will either do as Allison explained, or get a bus to Contemporary from one of the parks. For instance, boat to DHS, then bus to Contemporary. I will allow enough time, if that's what we decide. DSis & I have FPs at DAK Friday morning. We will not have a busy day.

We did that when we dined at the Contemporary, but make sure you also know PIO's last name, that's how they looked us up for our reservation. They had a list of diners at the guard shack, I guess since it's so close to MK!

I actually have booked some FP+ at MK on the afternoon before Cali Grill. I wasn't sure what to do that day so I just got some locked in as I figured we would need to head to MK and walk.....or catch a taxi.

I'm not sure if that's how we'll roll on the day; we'll play it by ear.
