A couple of people at work asked if I would cancel my leave today.

I've got FP+ for TSM on Thursday morning after breakfast for between 10 - 11 am return time.

I've got FP+ at DHS beginning 9:20 to 10:20 at TSMM. I think ours is doable if Breakfast is at 8.

Turns out that another work colleague and I are on leave at the same time. We're both pretty key people on the project and unknown to both of us, we had asked for and got leave approved for the same time.

We're both heading overseas and some of the other team members are just flipping out. A couple of the managers, who didn't know my plans, asked if I could cancel. Yeah. right.

I know my colleague can't cancel his plans either.

" The key to unlocking all the Magic"

Now think of it this way its now a bracelet you wear that acts like the KTTW card and then some ( for testing time guests will still get the KTTW cards as a backup) The MB opens your resort door, touch MB to the sensor, gives you entrance to the parks ( if the tickets are attached to the band via MDE OR at a CM trained MB person in the parks if no tickets until you get there) same thing touch to sensor

If on DDP touch at the restaurant, ( can't be setup on website this will be done at resort when checking in from what I understand)
Same with purchases throughout the world ( IF you have elected room charging privileges: in this case you will still have to enter a PIN you elected when linking everything to MB on the web-site )

The FP+ after tickets have been linked unto the MB you can now select certain rides/attractions/shows parade viewing: 3 per day and only in one park per day I THINK rumor is meet & greets for characters too and I HOPE this isn't true, as a local & a self-proclaimed character hound don't tell me I will eventually need a FP or a FP+ to see the characters for pictures...that will kill it for me I would have to see all the Harry Potter movies and then jump over to the " dark side"

Things can continue to change as this is all testing mode...hope I explained it some for you

Ok....I have put my AP info in, and DS's tix info from undercover tourist so i was able to get FP+ for the 2 of us. Now do I have to get a band?...or will our tickets work for the FP's? DSis plans to exchange her ticket for a non-expiring one after she uses it. Will this change our plans to use the FP +?

If DSis gets a band, will it work in the future if she does get the non-expiring option?

I originally got that FP+ timeslot but moved everything back. That time is eminently doable.

I'm reading that Disney are swapping the paper tickets for the Magic Cards. As with anything new, the swapover is spotty but there are a number of people that seem to think that the swapover is easy when you get to Guest Relations. I guess we'll find out.

I understand that whilst they are testing the Magic Bands, the normal tickets are still being used....so I am secretly hoping that this means that we have access to FP AND FP+ when we get there.

Need your insights and opinion all.....


DH's birthday is Oct 3 (yes I have let Disney know and no...he does NOT want anything!).

I've been tossing up about ordering a special cake for him to celebrate and had originally thought to organize one for the Wishes Cruise. Still happy to do so....but we are eating at Cali Grill and I can't see us not wanting to have dessert there.

I'm wondering if I'm better off ordering the cake for the night of our cookout???


Also - I've been wondering where to get the cake from. Should I order one from Disney? Is there an alternative cake supplier that will deliver?

If from Disney, I thought of getting a chocolate or marble cake with chocolate buttercream.
I had thought to order it from Contemporary....which meant that I might have been able to do a custom design. But now, I'm not so sure.


Thoughts?

Excellent. But let's keep that just between ourselves. Seems like there is a bit of debate on the other sections of the Dis about this kind of "double dipping".

But I figure that if Disney are offering it, why not?
