Real Life game/fun: Calling for a DisBoard Gamers DisMeet....first week Oct 2013

At this time, I am not committed to any particular dates. So, leaving on the 10th is something that may not work at all. I can easily get there for the last weekend in September. Initially that was the weekend I thought about since it's in September and fewer points. My DS's family lives in Florida, and September MNSSHP tix are usually less costly, I may be there for one of those with the family. We're taking them this year to a party in October and adult tickets are very near $70! So, my thinking is, I just may arrive before that September weekend, celebrate with family, even stay at their house before the meet, stay for the Gamers's Meet, have DH come on down. We tentatively thought I would drive down, but I do need a friend to come with me, so that would be someone else's schedule I would have to consider.

I really would enjoy a Wishes cruise. I've not eaten at Raglan Road, and that's fine with me. I like the idea of a cook out/pot luck at BCV. I'd be willing to call for some reservations at the however many days ahead it's allowed.

Wow, Fran, I would HATE to do all of that flying, so close together. I don't know how PIO and family do what they do as often as they do it!

Usnuzuloose, what are your definite dates??? I see proposed check out on the 10th. You have the room, plan, so I want to be sure I overlap lots! October 2nd to the 8th seems to be a definite time to be together. I can stay with my DS's family before the meet, I don't have to be in WDW for the whole time beginning before last September weekend. The points I have are finite and I still have to plan a December trip for DH and myself! We always do NYE!

I can't deny him that , poor man works so hard. Other than that we are pretty much open for things.

I've checked with DH & he's thinking he will join me after the meet & we will drive home through the Smokies. We're going to be planning the trip together soon. We'll most likely add a stay with DS's family.

in what section of AoA are you staying? Fran wants to try a room there. I would want one of the family suites.

Today is Walter's 1/2 year birthday!

We had our sons over 35 years ago. The book that I loved the most was "The First 12 Months of Life!" I read it and read it to marvel at the unfolding of the young lives. It's real cheap now (yes totally out of date!), but DH found a copy for me, and I've enjoyed reading it over and over again and again, I am amazed at how humans develop!

This was a week with some medical mysteries?!, but I feel so much better today than I did on Saturday and so, I made the decision to definitely go to Disney just this morning! I had some tests done, nothing back yet.

Can't wait to see the Lithia Woz's! (They live in Lithia Florida, hence what I call them. We have the Pittsburgh branch too!)
